Mars Ambassador Program - Communications Project

THIS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY OPEN TO DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE MARS CORPORATIONSave the Children requests a volunteer to support the creation of the Corporate Partnerships team communications strategy.
We are looking to enhance our storytelling to appeal to a corporate audience and would like to learn how to better communicate our reports, presentations, and pitches to our corporate partners, in addition to better understanding which toolkits are best to utilize.
We'd also like to understand how to best support our Country Offices and provide them with tools.
Assignment Objective & Expected Results:
The objective of this assignment is to provide capacity building to teams to make more compelling storytelling to corporate audiences by synthesizing best practices in communications.

Primary Programs:
Our partnership with The Wrigley Company Foundation began in 2011 and set out to improve children's oral health through support of our school health and nutrition (SHN) programming in six countries:
China, Kenya, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
The Mars Wrigley Foundation continues to support long-term behavior change and improve oral health for children today across China, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Altogether we have jointly reached over 1 million children, parents, teachers and oral health workers and have delivered 300,000 oral health services.
Save the Children has participated in the Mars Amabassador Program since 2012, both domestically within our headquarter offices as well as in international locations, assignments have included working on a road safety project in Indonesia and supporting a communications strategy for our social enterprise platform.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
