This is a full-time position with overnight hours (11pm-7am).

Responsibilities:
Review the day's activities, confirming reporting accuracy and preparing for the following day's transactions Welcome and greet guests Register arriving guests and assign rooms Respond promptly and tactfully to any guest issues, always providing excellent service to maintain guest satisfaction Take, cancel and change room reservations, including in concert with pricing and promotional guidelines in a dynamic pricing environment Process telephone calls Provide information on hotel facilities and services Provide general information about points of interest in the area Provide information about services available in the community Arrange services required for guests with special needs Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Clerical duties (e.
g.
, faxing, filing, photocopying, data entry) Availability to work weekends and holidays Ensure any irregularities are recorded on the departmental log book and brought to the attention of management Assist with light food & beverage preparation the following morning ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS Naturally and always guest oriented Ability to multi-task; must be a self-starter and a great problem solver At least 1 year of experience in a hotel and/or relevant hospitality setting Great communication skills Highly organized Interested in adapting to new technologies to continually improve time efficiency and effectiveness Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision while also being a team-based contributor Prior hotel night audit experience a plus Driver's License is required OTHER INFORMATION Please email resume together with a cover letter that summarizes your interest and highlights your unique candidacy.
