Part-Time Position Available (7am - 3pm shifts) SPECIAL NOTE:

POSITION TYPE:
This is a part-time position (24-36 hours a week).
Must be available to work 7am - 3pm and weekends.

We own and operate two of the leading hotels--Circle Hotel and Hotel HiHo--in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
We seek to optimize hotel assets that are well located, attractively positioned from a product and market perspective, and that can benefit from well capitalized improvements and well supported hotel management.
We have re-modeled and re-branded both hotels and our focus is on offering a unique guest experience together with deep community involvement while maintaining consistent, efficiency-focused operations.

POSITION
Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Front Desk Associate whose primary focus will be on helping us ensure top-notch guest satisfaction.
We anticipate our highly-motivated Front Desk Associate will have a minimum 1 year of hotel or other highly relevant hospitality experience, and candidates with multiple years' experience may be given priority.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, results oriented and committed to providing an absolutely outstanding guest experience.
As we continue to evaluate and deploy new technologies (property management software, guest self-service kiosks, etc.
), being comfortable with, if not excited by, using new technologies is preferred.

Welcome and greet guests Register arriving guests and assign rooms Respond promptly and tactfully to any guest issues, always providing excellent service to maintain guest satisfaction Take, cancel and change room reservations, including in concert with pricing and promotional guidelines in a dynamic pricing environment Process telephone calls Provide information on hotel facilities and services Provide general information about points of interest in the area Provide information about services available in the community Arrange services required for guests with special needs Process wake-up calls Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Clerical duties (e.
g.
